I know that its ok to plug a 3 pin fan into a PWM header, but i have a concern. I will be using all Corsair fans, and none of the fans that i have chosen are PWM, they are all 3 pin. My question is about the fan headers for the 3 case fans. I don't have any issues with the rad fans, as they will be running off of the Grid+. I don't want to be doing any overclocking for any of the gear in my system, so the water cooling loop should be fine to keep things cool. Then i will be running two 120mm front intake fans from the board as well as a single 140mm exhaust, so i have positive case pressure. What i want to be able to do is to connect a NZXT Grid+ to the board, and have it run six Corsair SP120 fans for my 2 360mm Radiators. So far I am super happy with the board itself, and the only concern i have is the way it controls fans. Ok, so very soon I will be starting a new build with the MSI Z97 Gaming & Motherboard.
